Test Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of commercial software testing experience
• Strong manual testing experience across web applications
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or similar
• Interest in developing automation testing skills further
• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• API testing experience is nice to have
• Basic SQL or database querying is nice to have
• Experience working in Agile teams is nice to have
• Knowledge of Git or Linux is nice to have

Responsibilities:

• Execute manual functional and regression testing
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing
• Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues
• Support release testing within an Agile environment
• Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage
