Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect delivering complex enterprise transformation programmes.
• Strong background across Microsoft technologies including Azure, .NET, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.
• Experience designing API-led and event-driven integration solutions using Azure Integration Services.
• Experience producing architecture documentation including High Level Designs and solution design artefacts.
• Strong understanding of secure-by-design principles and working within regulated environments.
• Commercial or Specialty Insurance experience is desirable.
• Experience delivering claims or core insurance platform replacement programmes is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain end-to-end solution architectures across applications, integrations, infrastructure, security, and data to support the Claims Modernisation Programme.
• Produce and maintain High Level Designs (HLDs), Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), Key Design Decisions (KDDs), and other architectural artefacts.
• Work alongside Business Analysts to translate business requirements and user stories into architecturally aligned solutions ready for delivery.
• Partner with Business Analysts, Data Architects, Infrastructure Architects, Security teams, and Technical Specialists to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards.
• Secure approval of solution designs through architectural governance, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards.

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our clients Modernisation Programme, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future technology landscape across a major transformation initiative. You will work closely with the Lead Solution Architect, Business Analysts, Technical Architects, and key business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, end-to-end solution designs across a modern Microsoft technology stack. This is a 12-month contract based in London with a hybrid working model, requiring three days in the office, at a rate of £950 per day inside IR35.
