Oracle Database Administrator

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Oracle Database Administration experience, with Oracle 19c or later preferred
• Experience with backup and recovery, performance tuning, and database security
• Oracle Enterprise Manager experience
• Oracle WebLogic experience
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach
• Experience with Oracle Engineered Systems, high availability environments, or infrastructure automation would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Oracle database environments
• Monitor database health, performance, and availability
• Manage backups, restores, migrations, and disaster recovery
• Support database patching, upgrades, and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
• Maintain Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle WebLogic environments
• Automate routine administration tasks where possible
• Ensure database security, compliance, and best practice
• Collaborate with IT teams to deliver reliable, high-quality services
