Job Description

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Commercial experience developing with Optimizely CMS
  • Strong C# and .NET development experience
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core and MVC
  • Experience building and maintaining CMS-driven websites
  • Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Experience consuming and developing REST APIs
  • Familiarity with Git version control
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercial experience with Umbraco CMS is desirable
  • Experience with additional CMS platforms is desirable
  • Knowledge of Optimizely Commerce is desirable
  • Experience with headless CMS architectures is desirable
  • Experience using Azure and Azure DevOps is desirable
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines is desirable
  • Experience with React, Vue.js or modern JavaScript frameworks is desirable
  • Knowledge of Search & Navigation is desirable
  • Experience with performance optimisation and website security is desirable
  • Familiarity with Azure App Services and cloud-hosted solutions is desirable
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments is desirable
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain websites and web applications using Optimizely CMS
  • Develop and customise content management solutions to meet client requirements
  • Work with Umbraco CMS projects where required
  • Build reusable, scalable and maintainable code following industry best practice
  • Develop integrations with third-party systems, APIs and enterprise platforms
  • Collaborate with UX/UI Designers to deliver responsive, user-friendly websites
  • Participate in technical design sessions and solution architecture discussions
  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers where appropriate
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Produce technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support testing, deployment and post-implementation activities
  • Work collaboratively within Agile development teams
