Salary: £97,500 - 117,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering SharePoint improvement or transformation projects
• Confident advising businesses on best practice rather than simply providing technical support
• Experience with SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365
• Experience with SharePoint architecture and governance
• Experience with information architecture
• Experience with document management
• Experience with search optimisation
• Experience with metadata and taxonomy
• Experience with permissions and security
• Experience with stakeholder engagement
• Experience with knowledge management projects
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to challenge existing ways of working
• Able to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions

Responsibilities:

• Review and assess the current SharePoint environment
• Design a logical, scalable SharePoint architecture
• Implement governance and best practice across the platform
• Recommend improvements to document management and information architecture
• Advise on metadata, permissions and search optimisation
• Produce a migration framework for the internal team to follow
• Work closely with project stakeholders throughout the engagement

We are an established technology consultancy embarking on an exciting knowledge management transformation project. Our SharePoint environment has grown organically over time, and we are looking to redesign the platform, implement best practice, and create a structure that will support the business for years to come. This is a remote contract role with occasional travel to London, offered on an initial 2-month basis. This is not a hands-on migration role; it is an opportunity to shape the future of a business-critical platform by advising stakeholders on how SharePoint should be structured, governed, and optimised.
