Onsite Service Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year
Requirements:- Prior experience as an engineer specialising in MFD printers is essential.
- Proven ability to deal with clients in a professional and courteous manner, both remotely and face to face.
- Proven ability to understand technical faults and use problem-solving techniques to resolve them.
- Experience with our products, processes, and support tools.
- Proven knowledge and experience of basic networking, scanning, and general IT.
- Experience resolving software issues.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and to follow procedures and processes.
- Sense of urgency when required to work quickly and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to organize workload to achieve maximum output while meeting customer requirements.
- Proven ability to self-motivate and work as part of a team or unsupervised.
- Results-oriented with a strong record of success.
- Ability to logically examine and interpret information from different sources to develop a course of action.
- Flexible approach to work and ability to embrace change.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to obtain SC Clearance, including a basic criminal record check.
- Diagnose and repair devices to ensure minimal downtime.
- Proactively monitor devices using advanced software.
- Provide training and guidance to clients to help them maximise productivity.
- Collaborate with our teams and client teams to meet service-level agreements.
- Manage onsite stock of consumables and spare parts effectively.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, security protocols, and data integrity procedures.
- Act as the first point of contact for maintaining and supporting print and IT devices at client sites.
- Work onsite five days per week, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:30 with a one-hour lunch break.
