Lead AV Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need at least 3+ years of experience installing AV systems within a commercial or public sector environment.
• Experience with systems such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Poly, and Cisco is highly beneficial, and commissioning or configuration experience is a plus.
• We need a good understanding of HDBaseT and AVoIP.
• You must be willing to work evenings where required.
• You must have a clean criminal record and be able to pass an advanced DBS check.
• You must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the installation of audio visual solutions for commercial and public sector clients.
• We lead teams of contractors on site.
• We act as the point of contact on site for client queries.
• We maintain contact with our operations team regarding progress or issues on site.
• We assemble AV racks, ensuring cabling is labelled and neatly structured.
• We carry out 1st and 2nd fix installation of sound systems, video equipment, and AV-related controls.
• We conduct site surveys.
• We carry out pre-commissioning, including firmware updates and equipment preparation for final commissioning.
• We work away from home where required.
• We adhere to health and safety policies.
• Bonus: we commission audio DSPs and control systems.

We are offering a Lead AV Engineer role based in Reading with a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 plus bonus.
