Forward Deployed Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a highly technical, customer-focused engineer with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience.
• We need strong software engineering experience with TypeScript.
• We need experience building and deploying applications on AWS.
• We need hands-on experience developing Generative AI applications using modern LLMs.
• We need a strong understanding of AI application architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
• We need experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• We need the ability to rapidly prototype solutions and iterate in fast-moving customer environments.
• We need excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• We need strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• We need someone comfortable working in ambiguous environments and owning projects from concept to deployment.
• Nice to have: experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Nice to have: knowledge of vector databases and semantic search.
• Nice to have: experience with Python alongside TypeScript.
• Nice to have: familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar.
• Nice to have: experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and containerization.
• Nice to have: knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js.

This is a hands-on role focused on bridging cutting-edge AI technology with real-world business challenges, with a salary of £50,000 to £70,000 per annum depending on experience and an ASAP start. You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI solutions quickly, help shape best practices, and drive innovation in enterprise AI deployments.
