Graduate Software Developer

Salary: £37,000 - 38,000 per year

Requirements:

• 2:1 or First-Class degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or another strong STEM discipline
• A-levels at A-B grades or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Programming experience in C#, C++, Java, Python, or similar
• Some knowledge of SQL/databases
• Personal, university, or commercial software development projects
• A genuine interest in becoming an accomplished Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test software, principally using C# and .NET
• Build back-end applications and new product features
• Work with SQL Server and relational databases
• Develop with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
• Work within an Agile/Scrum engineering environment
• Test, debug, and improve existing applications
• Use Git for source control and peer review code
• Gain exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, and modern application architecture
• Explore new technologies, frameworks, and approaches to software development
