Graduate Software Developer
Job Description
Salary: £37,000 - 38,000 per year
Requirements:- 2:1 or First-Class degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or another strong STEM discipline
- A-levels at A-B grades or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Programming experience in C#, C++, Java, Python, or similar
- Some knowledge of SQL/databases
- Personal, university, or commercial software development projects
- A genuine interest in becoming an accomplished Software Engineer
- Design, develop, and test software, principally using C# and .NET
- Build back-end applications and new product features
- Work with SQL Server and relational databases
- Develop with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Work within an Agile/Scrum engineering environment
- Test, debug, and improve existing applications
- Use Git for source control and peer review code
- Gain exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, and modern application architecture
- Explore new technologies, frameworks, and approaches to software development
