Data Quality Technician
Job Description
Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year
Requirements:- Previous experience working in data quality management or a similar role
- Experience supporting the development of key documentation
- Experience providing systems administration and support for data collection systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of data quality management tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ensure the execution of data quality routines
- Proactively monitor and report on data quality issues
- Provide systems administration and support for data collection systems
- Support Business Intelligence in managing key data collection systems
- Ensure data quality to support informed decision-making
- Ensure quality assurance of statutory obligations and submit data to relevant organisations
- Conduct system reviews and recommend performance improvements
- Collate and validate statistical returns
- Perform daily data quality checks

We are recruiting for a Data Quality Technician to join our Business Intelligence team at our Headquarters in Sheffield on a fixed-term basis until April 2027. This is a full-time role with 37 hours per week and flexi time, offering a salary of £26,403 to £28,142 per annum at Grade 4, with progression subject to national pay award negotiations and incremental increases from the bottom of the salary grade.
