Data Quality Technician

Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in data quality management or a similar role
• Experience supporting the development of key documentation
• Experience providing systems administration and support for data collection systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of data quality management tools
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the execution of data quality routines
• Proactively monitor and report on data quality issues
• Provide systems administration and support for data collection systems
• Support Business Intelligence in managing key data collection systems
• Ensure data quality to support informed decision-making
• Ensure quality assurance of statutory obligations and submit data to relevant organisations
• Conduct system reviews and recommend performance improvements
• Collate and validate statistical returns
• Perform daily data quality checks
• Maintain supporting documentation
• Track and audit data passing through Business Intelligence managed systems

We are recruiting for a Data Quality Technician to join our Business Intelligence team at our Headquarters in Sheffield on a fixed-term basis until April 2027. This is a full-time role with 37 hours per week and flexi time, offering a salary of £26,403 to £28,142 per annum at Grade 4, with progression subject to national pay award negotiations and incremental increases from the bottom of the salary grade.
