Requirements:

• We need extensive experience in a Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, or 3rd Line Infrastructure role.
• We need strong knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• We need hands-on experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop or Azure Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• We need strong Azure troubleshooting skills.
• We need experience supporting business-critical environments within an ITIL framework.
• We need to be commutable to our client site in Manchester.

Responsibilities:

• We provide expert 3rd Line support across enterprise cloud infrastructure.
• We monitor cloud platform health, availability, and capacity.
• We support and administer Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
• We support bespoke applications hosted within Azure and work alongside development teams to investigate infrastructure-related issues.
• We carry out infrastructure patching, maintenance, and planned change activities.
• We perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes to recurring issues.
• We respond to major incidents and participate in technical escalations.
• We participate in Cloud Infrastructure improvement initiatives and projects if required.

We are offering a contract Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role in Manchester with an immediate start. The role supports a hybrid environment and focuses on monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution to ensure a secure, stable, and high-performing platform. We are expanding our support capacity due to increased workload across the business, and the successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to support ongoing service delivery and platform reliability.
