Requirements:

• We are looking for an engineer with experience in AI and machine learning.
• We would value experience in AI solution integration, data science, or data engineering.
• We are looking for strong Python skills.
• We would like experience with OpenAI or generative AI.
• We would value proficiency in TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• We would like knowledge of Elasticsearch or graph databases such as Neo4j.
• We would like experience with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.
• We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and add value from day one.
• We would value the ability to mentor junior developers when needed.

Responsibilities:

• We are building a new team of ML and AI engineers in our Edinburgh development centre.
• We will have you working on a new product that will significantly impact the service we provide to our customers.
• We expect you to contribute strongly to the project and deliver value quickly.
• We may ask you to mentor junior developers when needed.
• We will have you working in a hybrid setup with two days onsite in Edinburgh.

We are building a growing AI and ML engineering team in our Edinburgh development centre, which currently has around 15 engineers and continues to expand. We work with cutting-edge technologies on new products, and our environment is described as inclusive, relaxed, and highly skilled. This is a 6-month contract role with a very high chance of extension, offered at a day rate of £500 to £600 depending on experience. The position is inside IR35 and follows a hybrid working pattern with two days onsite in Edinburgh.
