Java Developer
Job Description
Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year
Requirements:- Experience building applications in Java in a commercial environment
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and scalable systems
- Familiarity with cloud environments and modern deployment practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- A mindset of ownership and continuous improvement
- Design and build scalable backend services using Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features end to end
- Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Write clean, testable code and contribute to best practices across the team
- Support deployments and monitor production systems
