Java Developer

Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience building applications in Java in a commercial environment
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and scalable systems
• Familiarity with cloud environments and modern deployment practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• A mindset of ownership and continuous improvement

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable backend services using Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features end to end
• Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to best practices across the team
• Support deployments and monitor production systems
• Take ownership of features from idea through to release
