Lead Data Analyst

Salary: £41,500 - 68,500 per year

Requirements:

• We require experience working with data in an established team environment to help an organisation make better decisions.
• We require high standards of written, verbal and presentational communication skills.
• We consider a degree in a STEM subject, or equivalent experience, highly desirable.
• We consider ten years experience of the operation or maintenance of maritime weapon systems, or equivalent experience, highly desirable.
• We consider experience with data analysis methods such as modelling, classification, regression, clustering, simulation and prediction, highly desirable.
• We require eligibility to work and live in the UK.
• We require UK National status and willingness to undergo and maintain appropriate UK Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We manage a small team providing expert analysis services.
• We ensure contracted core deliveries meet agreed milestones.
• We resource manage and support, where necessary, the analysis of functional data to determine system performance and reliability.
• We provide briefings to our intelligent customer and represent or support them at technical meetings.
• We ensure the effective dissemination of high-quality information to appropriate stakeholders.
• We ensure the application of recognised best practice in specialist areas.
• We provide mentoring and coaching to early career team members and support them in developing specialist skills where applicable.
