Lead Data Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £41,500 - 68,500 per year
Requirements:- We require strong leadership, teamwork and organisational skills.
- We require a minimum of five years system analysis experience.
- We require a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- We require a good understanding of system performance and statistical analysis.
- We require experience working with data in an established team environment to help an organisation make better decisions.
- We require high standards of written, verbal and presentational communication skills.
- We consider a degree in a STEM subject, or equivalent experience, highly desirable.
- We consider ten years experience of the operation or maintenance of maritime weapon systems, or equivalent experience, highly desirable.
- We consider experience with data analysis methods such as modelling, classification, regression, clustering, simulation and prediction, highly desirable.
- We require eligibility to work and live in the UK.
- We require UK National status and willingness to undergo and maintain appropriate UK Government Security Clearance.
- We manage a small team providing expert analysis services.
- We ensure contracted core deliveries meet agreed milestones.
- We resource manage and support, where necessary, the analysis of functional data to determine system performance and reliability.
- We provide briefings to our intelligent customer and represent or support them at technical meetings.
- We ensure the effective dissemination of high-quality information to appropriate stakeholders.
- We ensure the application of recognised best practice in specialist areas.
- We provide mentoring and coaching to early career team members and support them in developing specialist skills where applicable.
