Data Product Owner

Requirements:

• Product strategy, roadmap planning, prioritisation, and backlog management.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Business case development, value measurement, and outcome-driven delivery.
• Agile/Scrum product management experience.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT, APIs, and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Define product vision, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics.
• Translate business objectives into actionable product requirements.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data products from ideation to retirement.
• Manage product backlog, releases, and investment decisions.
• Partner with engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and governance teams to deliver data products.
• Drive adoption, change management, training, and stakeholder communication.
• Define and monitor data quality, reliability, and trust metrics.

We are offering a fully remote UK contract position at £450 per day inside IR35 via umbrella, with a 6-month initial term and a view to extend. This is an opportunity to join a global organisation as a Data Product Owner, where we will rely on you to bridge business, data, and technology teams to deliver trusted, scalable, and high-impact data solutions. The start date is ASAP, with interviews scheduled for w/c 17th.
