Test Engineer

Requirements:

• Active SC Clearance is essential
• Previous experience working within secure Government or Defence environments
• Technical testing experience across Microsoft environments
• Exposure to M365 and/or SharePoint
• Understanding of Azure or cloud environments
• Experience with performance testing or technical benchmarking is highly beneficial
• Comfortable working closely with infrastructure, cloud and application specialists
• Able to work onsite in Bristol 5 days per week for the duration of the assignment

Responsibilities:

• Execute functional, integration and technical testing across the migrated environment
• Support testing of SharePoint and M365 services following migration and upgrade activities
• Carry out performance testing and benchmarking within Azure
• Develop and execute test scripts, scenarios and test plans
• Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution
• Work closely with technical SMEs to validate migrated services
• Support regression and acceptance testing

We are recruiting a hands-on Technical Tester to support a secure Microsoft 365 / SharePoint migration programme within a Defence environment. This is a 5-month initial contract with potential extension, inside IR35, offering up to £325 per day. The role is fully onsite in Bristol, 5 days per week, with an early September start. We will be working alongside M365, SharePoint and Azure specialists to ensure the new environment performs as expected throughout the migration and upgrade programme.
