Dotnet Developer

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET (.NET Core / .NET)
• Excellent object-oriented programming skills and design principles
• Proven experience designing and implementing APIs (REST / JSON)
• Solid understanding of application architecture, performance, and scalability
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g. SQL Server)
• Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Financial Services technology environments
• Strong domain knowledge in at least one of the following: Risk Management, Securities Lending / Prime Brokerage, or Collateral, Margin, or Financing platforms
• Exposure to risk and regulatory methodologies such as RWA (Risk Weighted Assets), CCAR, or Basel III / Basel IV frameworks
• Understanding of credit risk, counterparty exposure, or capital calculations is a strong advantage
• 10+ years experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
• Experience with messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka)
• Experience in front-to-back trading or financing systems
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain C# / .NET applications supporting Risk or Securities Lending platforms
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with upstream and downstream systems
• Implement scalable, testable, and maintainable object-oriented code following best practices
• Contribute to risk workflows including exposure calculations, limits, and reporting
• Work with large data sets and high-throughput systems typical of financial services
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Front Office, Operations, and Compliance
• Support production systems and assist with incident analysis and remediation

We are a technology team supporting critical Financial Services platforms with a strong focus on Risk Management and Securities Lending. In this hybrid London role, you will help design, build, and support high-performance systems used for risk calculations and trading and financing workflows, working closely with quants, risk managers, business analysts, and product owners in a regulated environment. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.
