Senior Software Developer - HealthTech/Java/AWS

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need an experienced software developer with strong, proven backend expertise.
• We need confident experience with Java and Spring, including Spring MVC, Data JPA, Security, OAuth2, and AMQP.
• We need experience with PostgreSQL and AWS.
• We need a solid understanding of security best practices in a regulated environment.
• We need someone who has supported or mentored others in previous roles.
• We prefer someone with at least 6 years of software development experience.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, OIDC integration, or healthcare/regulated industry experience would be an advantage.
• We require the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

• We design, build, and maintain secure, high-quality software across our platform.
• We develop new features and integrations, including NHS services.
• We participate in code reviews.
• We contribute to documentation.
• We help resolve issues for our healthcare clients.
• We primarily focus on backend development and occasionally contribute to frontend work.
