Data Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have proven experience in a data-focused role.
• We have a strong background in data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
• We understand database management systems, OLAP, and ETL frameworks.
• We have experience with cloud data platforms, ideally Microsoft Fabric.
• We are familiar with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• We can optimise and troubleshoot query performance.
• We have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• We have knowledge of modern data architectures.
• We have experience with SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
• We have experience using PySpark.
• We are familiar with KQL.
• We have experience with data cataloguing tools.
• We have exposure to C#.
• We are eligible for BPSS and SC security clearance, with a minimum of 5 years UK residency.
• We hold a full UK driving licence.

• We design, develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence solutions.
• We write and optimise queries to meet data requirements.
• We deliver insights through reports and visualisations.
• We translate business needs into technical solutions.
• We maintain and enhance data platforms and analytics systems.
• We build and manage dimensional data models.
• We conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• We evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
• We collaborate with technical teams to integrate systems.
• We create and maintain technical documentation.
