Senior SOC Analyst - Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £50,000 - 58,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need SIEM experience with tools such as Sentinel, Splunk, or similar platforms.
• We need SOC experience in a live operational environment.
• We need a strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK.
• We need knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SMTP.
• We need experience with security tooling such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and EDR.
• We require DV eligibility and sole British nationality.

Responsibilities:

• We monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts.
• We analyse SIEM, endpoint, and network data.
• We support incident response and escalation.
• We improve detections aligned to MITRE ATT&CK.
• We produce clear incident reports and findings.
• We work hands-on in the SOC to respond to real-time security incidents in highly secure environments.

We are hiring a Senior SOC Analyst to join a high-performing SOC in Hemel Hempstead on a fully on-site, 24/7 shift pattern basis. We offer up to £58K plus a 20% shift allowance. This is a high-trust role supporting UK defence, aerospace, and national security environments, where we defend against advanced and nation-state level threats and help protect UK critical systems.
