Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps)

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• We need extensive commercial Kubernetes experience managing production workloads.
• We need advanced Infrastructure as Code expertise.
• We need excellent Linux systems administration skills.
• We need experience designing resilient, highly available platforms.
• We need strong troubleshooting and networking skills.
• We need candidates based in the UK with the ability to travel to Southampton.
• Proxmox VE or Ceph experience is desirable.
• Startup or scale-up experience is desirable.
• Experience in VoIP, SIP, or WebRTC environments is desirable.
• Strong security and governance knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We own and evolve large-scale production Kubernetes infrastructure.
• We design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and automation-first principles.
• We improve platform scalability, resilience, and performance.
• We lead operational improvements, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• We mentor engineers and drive engineering standards across the platform.
• We work directly with leadership on the future technical roadmap.
