EUC Platform Architect

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need extensive, current experience architecting Omnissa Horizon environments, with recent and demonstrable VDI delivery experience.
• We need prior delivery experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• We need strong architectural governance experience, including ownership of High-Level Design and Low-Level Design documentation.
• We need confidence presenting designs, challenging technical decisions, and gaining stakeholder approval.
• We need experience defining enterprise-scale EUC solutions rather than purely operational support.
• We would highly value experience across the wider EUC stack, particularly IGEL, Island.io, and Apple Business Manager.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the end-to-end architecture design of the EUC platform.
• We develop and maintain High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs.
• We establish technical standards, patterns, and best practices across the platform.
• We drive architecture governance, including design reviews and approval boards.
• We collaborate with engineering teams to translate architectural vision into successful implementation.
• We present technical solutions and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• We ensure designs meet the security, compliance, and operational expectations of a regulated financial environment.

We are supporting a major transformation programme for a global financial services organisation. This is a senior technical leadership role for an EUC Platform Architect, based in London with 2/3 days on site, initially for 6 months and outside IR35, with rate depending on experience. We will provide a role where you define the architecture vision, set platform standards, own detailed technical designs, and lead formal design approval sessions with senior stakeholders.
