Requirements:

  • Good understanding of core analytics concepts, such as data modelling, blending, and visualization.
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-changing technical landscape and learning new tools, technologies, and analytical methodologies.
  • Experience within scholarly communications, publishing, or a related industry is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex analytics projects from planning through delivery, translating loosely defined business problems into a clear plan of action.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to senior stakeholders, shaping strategy, guiding hypothesis-driven thinking, and challenging assumptions through data.
  • Identify and execute relevant analyses, metrics, and reporting solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to overcome challenges and deliver results.
  • Adapt to new tools and technologies, evaluating and adopting emerging techniques, including AI-assisted analytics.
  • Coach and mentor junior data analysts, sharing best practices and analytical expertise.
