Reference Data Senior Analyst – Technology Product Management – AVP

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelors degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
• Experience capturing business and product requirements from clients.
• Strong analytical and writing skills, including experience writing functional and technical specifications and user stories.
• Experience with validation and testing in collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams.
• Understanding of data vendor and data source hierarchies for golden copy.
• Experience or understanding of business process reengineering, business modeling, business systems development, and analysis.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong data orientation and attention to detail.
• Proven analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, data analysis, diplomacy, management, and prioritization skills.

• Preferred: Understanding of AI/GenAI fundamentals and how to structure AI-ready reference data.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise between business users, operations, and technology teams to define product requirements, manage backlogs, and drive platform enhancements.
• Contribute to iterative product exploration, feature definition, and data analysis to maximize business value and platform adoption.
• Create business and functional requirements.
• Perform data modeling, mapping, mining, and transformation.
• Use SQL to support data analysis and product work.
• Work closely with IT, project management, and operations partners.
• Develop web GUI and API interfaces.
• Work with internal and external data provider vendors.
• Define epics and user stories based on client requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to inform product development.
• Prepare documentation and provide user training.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process streamlining, and AI-ready data use cases.
• Support the Corporate Actions platform, including vendor data feed processing, data analysis and research, SWIFT messages, user interfaces, and data publishing to downstream clients.
• Contribute to platform rules, governance, audit, and compliance, with a focus on coverage, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
