IT Support Technician

Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least one year of first-line IT support experience; more experienced applicants are also welcome.
• A valid drivers licence and own transport are essential for commuting to the office and visiting client sites.
• Excellent customer service skills, including an approachable and patient manner and the ability to explain things clearly.
• A proactive, curious approach, initiative to investigate problems, and willingness to learn.
• Confidence working independently, with the judgement to know when to ask for help.
• A practical, flexible attitude and willingness to handle routine support and more involved projects.
• Microsoft certification, a relevant degree, or cybersecurity knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, helpful IT support to clients remotely and during site visits.
• Troubleshoot everyday hardware, software, email, and connectivity issues.
• Set up computers, user accounts, and equipment to help customers get started.
• Organise your workload, take ownership of issues, and keep customers informed.
• Contribute to IT implementation projects, upgrades, and improvements across different client environments.
• Work independently where possible and draw on the teams support when needed.
