AI Engineering Tech Lead

Salary: £95,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience delivering Data, AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions
• Hands-on experience with Databricks
• Strong experience with Microsoft Foundry and the wider Azure ecosystem
• Experience leading and mentoring AI or engineering teams
• Experience designing and delivering scalable, production-ready AI solutions
• Strong stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small engineering squad and shape, build and scale AI solutions across the business
• Own the technical direction of a growing AI engineering capability
• Lead the design, development and deployment of Data, AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases
• Rapidly prototype AI solutions and take successful ideas through to production
• Help shape the AI technical roadmap
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, well-governed and aligned with responsible AI practices
