Senior Java Developer EFX
Job Description
Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year
Requirements:- Highly technical with solid years of Java server-side development experience.
- Full technology stack knowledge from Java to Linux and networks.
- KDB / Q experience.
- Prior pricing or algo-trading experience in any asset class.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with tech management, Quantitative Strategies Group and the trading desk.
- Full SDLC experience, including Git, Jenkins and Ansible.
- Advanced programming skills, including algorithms and data structures, design patterns and multi-threading.
- Strong team player.
- Experience in 3rd line production support.
- Develop new realtime, low-latency pricing services for FX Spot, swaps pricing and NDF auto-hedging.
- Develop new features and enhancements to existing pricing and auto-hedging services for Spot and NDF.
- Update the existing codebase as required by external venue upgrades and internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Fully engage with the Agile SDLC.
- Work alongside Quantitative Strategies Group to review code and enhance backtesting capabilities.
- Solve problems independently, manage our own workload, engage other teams where required, escalate appropriately and proactively drive tasks to completion.
- Develop Java code and review code written by colleagues.
- Attend Agile ceremonies.
- Refine requirements with users and liaise with sibling teams in EFX, including market access, dashboard and price distribution.
