Salary: £47,000 - 87,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in planning and leading the development of complex software.
• Ability to act as the technical lead within a development team.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines to understand and design service solutions.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on improving system robustness, resilience, and stability.
• A learning mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Willingness to work towards a certification in Google and Microsoft technologies and Agile practices.

We are the Department for Transport, and this role sits within our Digital, Information and Security Directorate and the Create Service Line. We are looking for a Senior Developer to help shape the digital services that support critical government operations. The role is based in Birmingham, Hastings, Leeds, London, or Swansea, with hybrid working available.
