Head of HSEQ
Job Description
Salary: £24,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements:- Significant senior HSEQ or Health & Safety leadership experience within telecommunications, infrastructure, utilities, construction or another operationally complex environment.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 qualification) with IOSH membership and strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
- Proven experience leading professional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Strong experience managing ISO 45001 management systems, with a good understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and audit processes.
- Excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance operational priorities with robust HSEQ standards.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) across Quickline, driving strategic improvements and embedding best practice throughout the business.
- Own and continually improve our certified management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 9001, ensuring compliance, audit readiness and operational effectiveness.
- Oversee risk-based assurance activities, audits, inspections and incident investigations, ensuring risks are effectively managed and corrective actions are delivered.
- Lead and develop the HSEQ team, building capability and promoting a proactive culture where safety, quality and continuous improvement are everyones responsibility.
- Partner with senior leaders, operational teams and external stakeholders to provide expert advice, governance and assurance on HSEQ performance and risk.
