Senior Platform Engineer

Salary: £59,000 - 99,000 per year

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD design and build using GitHub, Terraform or similar.
• Experience supporting microservices / API-driven architectures.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, product-led organisations with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Engineering Manager to help develop our cloud platform and enable rapid, secure product delivery at scale.
• Own the reliability, scalability, and security of our Google Cloud Platform estate.
• Work across CI/CD, networking, security, AIOps, and observability within our multi-disciplinary platform function.
• Build a robust self-service platform that empowers engineering squads.
• Help shape platform strategy and champion automation.
• Play an integral role in the development of future products.
• Drive engineering standards and enable teams to deliver securely and efficiently.

We are a fast-growing scale-up that has launched our flagship product and is expanding our engineering capability. This is a key role within our cloud-native environment, with a hybrid working arrangement of two days per week in our Bradford and Leeds office. The role offers a salary of 85,000 to 95,000, plus a 15% bonus and benefits.
