Job Description

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

  • We value understanding of AWS and cloud foundations such as VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, and security groups, plus awareness of serverless services, containers, and monitoring.
  • We value understanding of CI/CD principles and tools, along with infrastructure automation and IaC tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • We value Windows administration fundamentals, including Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and enterprise deployment or packaging awareness.
  • We value security best practices, including SSO/SCIM, least privilege, encryption, and network segmentation.
Responsibilities:
  • We help design, build, and operate the services and streaming environments that deliver our Unified Engineering products as a SaaS platform on AWS.
  • We contribute to the design, development, and support of highly available platform components.
  • We deliver and maintain APIs, event-driven workflows, and identity/SCIM integrations with AVEVA CONNECT.
  • We support desktop streaming and Windows-centric infrastructure with strong observability and a focus on cost and performance.
  • We write clean, tested, documented, and deployable code.
  • We contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
  • We collaborate in agile planning, troubleshoot issues, communicate risks, and continue learning.
  • We may join an on-call rotation in the future, with mentoring and support.
