Senior Test Engineer

Salary: £49,000 - 66,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years experience as a Software Engineer in Test, Test Engineer, or Test Analyst.
• We need someone who is confident in manual testing and also enjoys automation testing.
• We require demonstrated experience in automated quality assurance, including overnight cross-browser, functional, non-functional, API, integration, and acceptance testing.
• We require experience delivering front-end cross-browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory testing, systems integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• We need someone who is confident building and maintaining frameworks in one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• We require practical experience with open source tools such as Cypress, Karate, Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
• We require experience working in an agile environment.
• Candidates must have active SC Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We work as part of an agile team helping our clients achieve their business transformation goals by identifying requirements, developing solutions, and providing ongoing guidance and advice in test.
• We define and execute test strategies and scripts.
• We accurately record and monitor issues.
• We support development scrum teams to automate tests and guide development.
• We review test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintain quality standards.
• We provide test estimates.
