What you'll do
Snke Viewing is our team building a medical imaging viewer, part of Snke's suite of software solutions that let clinicians and researchers work with complex imaging and clinical data. Join our Munich team and help keep Snke Viewing reliable and release-ready — from researching incident and safety data to testing new versions and looking after the environments they run in.
This is a working student position applicable for applicants currently enrolled at an university. The position is for up to 20 hours per week with flexibility during exam periods. Please note that this is an onsite position based in Munich, and regular presence at our Munich office is required.
- Monitor and track Snake Viewing-related incidents across public and internal sources (e.g. BfArM, MAUDE, CID) using both manual research and automated routines
- Support software development and release activities by testing new features, bug fixes, and release candidates
- Help maintain and continuously improve the testing environment, ensuring its stability and readiness for validation activities
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring tasks related to incident monitoring, testing, and release management, and contribute to implementing these solutions
- Support project managers with day-to-day project coordination and operational tasks
- Work alongside the development team throughout the full development cycle from early concepts and implementation to final testing and release
What we're looking for
- Studies in computer science, health informatics, medical technology, lifesciencesor a related field
- (Bio)medical imaging background
- Strong interest in medical imaging anddata processing
- Interest in medical device safety/vigilance data and a structured, detail-oriented approach to researching and documenting findings
- First experience with, or strong interest in, software testing/QA concepts and release or deployment processes
- Basic programming/scripting skills and enthusiasm for automating recurring tasksworking with GitHub workflows
- Structured and independent working style witha high levelof reliability
- Good command of English in a professional environment; German is nice to have
