Treasury AI Engineering Lead

Salary: £55,000 - 90,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• We lead the adoption and scaling of Generative AI and advanced machine learning within Treasury.
• We transform our Treasury function into a predictive, real-time, and data-driven business partner.
• We build and share technical expertise, stay updated on innovations, and promote knowledge across the team and wider technical community.
• We design software and tools aligned with strategic vision and project objectives, ensuring requirements are met through thorough research.
• We deliver high-quality solutions using automated unit, system, and integration testing.
• We research and implement emerging technologies, assess opportunities and risks, and lead a team of engineers to address key priorities.
• We keep the innovation team and wider technical audience informed by sharing insights into the latest industry trends.
• We design and deliver AI and ML solutions for Treasury use cases such as liquidity forecasting, capital optimisation, and risk management.
• We oversee the migration to secure, scalable cloud-based environments, enabling experimentation and prototyping.
• We champion robust data strategy and governance, ensuring quality, accessibility, and security.
• We foster an agile, innovative culture and mentor Treasury colleagues in AI engineering and responsible AI practices.

We are hiring a Treasury AI Engineering Lead for our London team. This is a full-time, hybrid role with 35 hours per week. In this position, we focus on scaling Generative AI and advanced machine learning within Treasury to build a predictive, real-time, data-driven function. We also support innovation across the wider technical community by sharing insights, promoting knowledge, and driving collaboration across teams.
