Software Developer

Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• 5+ years commercial experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and SQL.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Good understanding of web application development and software engineering principles.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining existing applications.
• Knowledge of Xcode and Android Studio.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of development tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web applications.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries and database functionality.
• Maintain and enhance existing software platforms.
• Develop new features and functionality based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Support the development and maintenance of mobile applications using Xcode and Android Studio.
• Ensure applications are secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements across our technology platforms.
