ServiceNow Technical Architect

Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a ServiceNow Architect.
• Extensive hands-on experience delivering ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
• Strong expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Event Management, and Cloud Discovery.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise monitoring and infrastructure platforms.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and enterprise service management principles.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
• Desirable: Operational Intelligence / AIOps experience.
• Desirable: ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
• Desirable: ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA).
• Desirable: ServiceNow ITOM certifications.
• Desirable: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
• Desirable: Experience working within regulated, secure, or defence environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and solution design activities for ServiceNow ITOM implementations.
• Define technical architecture across Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Discovery, and CMDB.
• Provide governance and technical assurance across delivery teams.
• Design integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise monitoring and infrastructure tools.
• Support solution estimation, planning, and architectural approvals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and future-state roadmaps.
• Ensure CMDB design supports operational processes, service visibility, and reporting needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, administrators, and project teams.
• Support client presentations, solution reviews, and bid activities where required.

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Technical Architect to support the design and delivery of ServiceNow IT Operations Management capabilities within a large-scale, complex enterprise environment. This is a key architectural role with a hybrid working model in Preston, requiring 60% onsite presence. The role is inside IR35 and requires active SC clearance and sole UK nationality.
