Senior Solution Architect

Salary: £90,000 - 105,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• We will translate business requirements and objectives into effective solution architectures.
• We will define current-state and target-state architectures across applications, platforms, data and technology.
• We will conduct gap analysis to identify technology, capability and architectural gaps.
• We will develop practical roadmaps and transition plans to move from current to target state.
• We will produce solution designs, architectural blueprints, standards and technology roadmaps.
• We will lead solution architecture from discovery and design through to implementation.
• We will evaluate technology options, considering cost, risk, scalability, resilience and business value.
• We will provide core solution architecture across applications, integration, APIs, data, cloud and infrastructure.
• We will ensure solutions meet key non-functional requirements including security, performance, availability and maintainability.
• We will identify architectural risks, dependencies and opportunities for technology improvement.
• We will support architecture governance and alignment with wider enterprise standards.
• We will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, engineering, security, data, product and delivery teams.
• We will communicate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
