Senior Software Developer

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality software in a timely manner while maintaining coding standards and processes defined in our documentation
• Suggest improvements and additions to our coding standards and development processes with the Development Manager
• Complete routine documentation for all changes and prepare additional explanatory documentation where needed
• Contribute to requirement specifications and help identify how to achieve development requirements with other team members
• Take a lead role on projects when requested by the Development Manager
• Play an active role in scrums
• Support other team members using your knowledge and experience and encourage knowledge sharing across the team
• Carry out code reviews for other development team members where appropriate
• Collaborate on joint projects across other companies in our group
• Provide advice and assistance to other departments regarding software functionality, support issue escalation, and development requirements
• Focus primarily on development targets and use good judgement when considering changes to priorities
