Senior Qt Developer - FTC

Salary: £46,000 - 86,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have strong commercial experience developing cross-platform applications in Qt.
• We have a solid background in building modern Qt-based graphical user interfaces.

• We have experience with version control systems, code reviews, and integration tools.

• We have experience with 3D graphics or rendering technologies.
• We have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or similar work-based experience.
• We have proven experience as a Software Engineer, ideally with a focus on healthcare-related projects.
• We have very good working knowledge of standard software development frameworks, techniques, and methodologies.
• We have experience providing coaching and mentoring.
• We can work collaboratively in a team, contributing to the development of business scenarios.
• We have knowledge of software development tools and technologies.
• We are flexible and curious in our approach.
• We have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• We develop modern, visually advanced human-machine interfaces for embedded devices across multiple industries.
• We contribute to an embedded HMI project as part of an international engineering team.
• We rewrite the UI in Qt Widgets based on a new GUI designed in Figma.
• We help make the application easier to debug.
• We use Git for source control.
• We work in an international, fast-moving engineering environment.

We are hiring for a 2-month fixed term Senior Qt Developer role, with a possible extension, on a hybrid work pattern with Monday to Friday, 9-5 hours. We are working with a client focused on Qt framework software development and innovative embedded HMI projects.
