Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (Google Cloud)

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in the DevOps field or as a Software Engineer
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go programming languages
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes
• Strong passion for technology and a drive to continuously learn
• Eagerness to join a diverse team of ML, AI, and DevOps enthusiasts
• Previous experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment
• Proficiency with technologies such as Terraform and Kubernetes
• Experience in implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, ideally on Google Cloud
• Prior experience in a client-facing position
• Understanding of Software Defined Networking (SDN) on Google Cloud

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement robust DevOps pipelines
• Provide expert advice to customers on DevOps best practices
• Establish and enhance DevOps functions within clients organisations
• Engage with customers and project teams throughout the project development lifecycle to ensure seamless delivery
