Salary: £100,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require comprehensive knowledge of production-grade cloud technologies, including data, security, and networking.
• We require proficiency with container technologies.
• We require multiple years of programming experience in Python, Java, and SQL, with a focus on scalable, high-performance code.
• We require experience delivering scalable, robust, and high-performing solutions to business needs.
• We prefer Google Cloud or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• We prefer experience with ETL tools, Hadoop-based technologies such as Spark, and batch or streaming data pipelines such as Beam and Flink.
• We prefer experience designing and building data lake and data warehouse solutions using technologies such as BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Redshift, Oracle, and Teradata.
• We prefer experience creating analytical products with tools such as Looker, Tableau, Data Studio, PowerBI, or Qlik.
• We prefer familiarity with Agile frameworks, including Scrum.
• We prefer basic understanding of machine learning, data mining, statistics, and data visualisation, with practical experience preferred.
• We prefer a history of contributions to open-source projects.

Responsibilities:

• We shape the architecture for key projects.
• We provide pre- and post-sales architectural advice and thought leadership for machine learning, analytics, and data migration projects.
• We help build the architectural side of our next-generation AI products.
• We use scalable cloud and data processing technologies to develop advanced customer solutions.
• We oversee the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Data and AI projects.
• We introduce innovative ideas and approaches to improve our capabilities and methodologies.
• We shape our architecture team and mentor team members while promoting technical excellence.
• We collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise during client engagements and help scope solutions for complex requirements.
• We partner with GTM teams to create and refine market-ready solutions with technical leadership and governance.
• We conduct architecture reviews for key clients and deliver actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• We define and embed best practices into project delivery to ensure quality and consistency.
• We contribute to our internal knowledge base, including technical collateral and thought leadership materials.
• We work in a dynamic, agile environment alongside data scientists, machine learning experts, data analysts, and data engineers.
• We collaborate closely with partners such as Google Cloud, Tableau, and Looker to use their technologies effectively.
• We guide team members and foster a culture of growth and innovation.
