Project Expeditor

Salary: £52,000 - 62,400 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Project Expeditor, Supplier Expeditor or in a similar role.
• Strong supplier expediting and procurement experience.
• Previous EPC or EPCM project experience, or experience on engineering projects.
• Experience with mechanical, piping, valves, or instrumentation would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and challenge suppliers effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Expedite supplier orders and monitor agreed delivery dates.
• Track vendor documentation and manufacturing progress.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure commitments are maintained.
• Identify and escalate delays and delivery risks.
• Provide weekly expediting updates and progress reports.
• Work closely with procurement, engineering, and the wider team to support delivery.

We are offering an Outside IR35 project expediting contract at £30 per hour for an initial 3-month term, with hybrid working available. This is an exciting opportunity to support a major upgrade project within a high-hazard manufacturing environment, working closely with suppliers, procurement, engineering, and the wider team. You will play a key role in driving supplier progress, keeping orders and engineering packages on schedule, and ensuring timely delivery through regular updates and proactive risk management.
