OT Engineer

Salary: £110,500 - 110,760 per year

• Strong infrastructure engineering background across both IT and Operational Technology environments
• Experience working within secure or critical infrastructure environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working within complex governance and multi-supplier environments
• Excellent technical documentation skills
• Fortinet product suite implementation experience
• Microsoft Windows build and deployment experience
• Linux build and deployment experience
• VMware ESXi and Dell VxRail experience
• Security hardening and infrastructure security implementation
• SCADA environments and technologies experience is desirable
• Privileged Access Management (PAM) experience is desirable
• Carbon Black App Control experience is desirable
• McAfee / Trellix ePO experience is desirable
• Tenable Vulnerability Management experience is desirable
• Nessus Scanners experience is desirable
• On-Premise PKI / Certificate Authority implementation experience is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and support IT and OT infrastructure solutions
• Implement and configure Fortinet technologies
• Build and deploy Microsoft Windows environments across physical and virtual platforms
• Build and administer Linux environments
• Configure and support Dell VxRail, VMware ESXi and virtualisation technologies
• Implement security hardening within OT environments
• Deploy and integrate cyber security products and controls
• Produce technical documentation and requirements packs
• Work within complex multi-supplier delivery environments
• Engage with engineering, cyber security and programme governance stakeholders
• Support knowledge transfer and capability uplift activities

We are recruiting for two experienced OT Infrastructure Engineers to support a major critical infrastructure programme. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project, working within secure Operational Technology environments and helping to deliver key infrastructure and cyber security initiatives. This is an initial 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. The role is hybrid, with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote, and is available in either Leeds or Newcastle. Active SC Clearance is required.
