Oracle Database Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 71,000 per year

Requirements:

• Shown experience in database development using Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong SQL writing skills and data analysis using SQLPlus, Toad, and SQL Developer
• Experience writing complex and optimal SQL queries
• Experience debugging and performance tuning PL/SQL code
• Experience in Oracle Forms 12c (Oracle Fusion Middleware)
• Experience with ETL processing, data extraction, transform, and load
• Working knowledge of partitioning and materialised views
• Experience working in a support environment with good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work within standard procedures and within a project life cycle
• Knowledge of database best practices
• Keen interest in database development using Oracle
• Interest in understanding the workings of an application

Responsibilities:

• Become the Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX 24.2 technical expert for applications
• Support BAU delivery, enhancements, and developments
• Act as the primary contact for the business
• Provide secondary cover for other applications based on technology experience
