Network & Systems Administrator

Salary: £91,000 - 117,000 per year

Requirements:

• Microsoft 365 / Office 365 / Intune / Exchange Online experience
• Windows Server experience
• Active Directory experience
• Hyper-V or VMware experience, ideally with HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure)
• Entra ID or Okta experience
• Fortinet / FortiGate firewalls experience
• Wireless technologies experience
• Basic networking knowledge, including routers and switches
• Storage, disaster recovery, and backup experience would be beneficial
• Ability to commit to working onsite in Middlesbrough 3 days per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide 3rd line technical and infrastructure support, resolving complex incidents across infrastructure, networking, and end-user computing environments
• Administer and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta, and Identity & Access Management environments
• Maintain and troubleshoot networking infrastructure, including Fortinet and Cisco Meraki technologies
• Support infrastructure and migration projects, including server, platform, and legacy on-premises file server migrations
• Collaborate with internal IT teams within an ITIL-based environment, supporting projects, documenting solutions, and implementing technical changes

We are a large global organisation seeking a Network & Systems Administrator to join our Infrastructure team on a 6-month contract outside IR35, based in Middlesbrough. This role supports a broad range of IT infrastructure and systems across the business, combining day-to-day 3rd line support with ongoing infrastructure and migration projects. The position requires onsite presence in Middlesbrough three days per week.
