Lead Technical Program Manager - Glasgow
Job Description
Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year
Requirements:- We have significant experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large technology organization and/or financial institution.
- We have demonstrated ability to produce and manage high-quality governance and regulatory deliverables, including clear narratives, evidence readiness, and traceable documentation.
- We have strong adaptability, with the ability to pivot across multiple program domains, shifting priorities, and diverse stakeholder groups while maintaining execution discipline in a highly dynamic environment.
- We have advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to influence outcomes across engineering, product, risk operations, and senior leadership.
- We have technical fluency sufficient to engage credibly with architects and engineers, understand system impacts, and translate technical work into program outcomes and governance materials.
- We have proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities.
- We have demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- We can review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
- Experience with dashboarding and analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or AI prompt-based systems to support program reporting, metrics, and executive insights is preferred.
- Prior experience working in or closely with a governance, risk, controls, audit, or regulatory-facing function would be an advantage.
- We develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
- We identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum.
- We collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- We utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- We champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
