Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification is desirable.
  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification is desirable.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, AZ-900, or SC-900 are desirable.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, or Microsoft Defender is desirable.
  • Basic PowerShell knowledge is desirable.
  • Previous IT support or helpdesk experience is desirable.
  • Formal qualifications are not a requirement; practical IT knowledge and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line and second-line IT support to users.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and other IT equipment.
  • Monitor CyberSmart to ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Keep operating systems, applications, and security tools updated.
  • Assist with user onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues.
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration and security improvements.
  • Monitor and enhance Microsoft Secure Score.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of Microsoft Intune.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate on wider IT projects and continuous improvements.
  • Initially focus on day-to-day IT support, monitoring, and maintaining device security.
  • As experience grows, take on Microsoft 365 administration and participation in Microsoft Intune projects.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior IT Engineer to join our IT team in London City on a permanent full-time basis, working 40 hours per week from 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in IT who is eager to expand their skills across IT support, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management.
